This annual gathering of friends and
family was established in the summer of
2002 to honor the memory of our hero,
Jimmy Straine, who we lost on September
11. It is a day dedicated to doing
some of the things Jimmy loved the most
– being with friends, sharing stories
and playing golf. It is also the
vehicle that funds the James J. Straine,
Jr. Memorial Scholarship at Jimmy’s
alma mater, Watchung Hills Regional High
School in Warren, New Jersey.
